  • Compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Prevention of work-related incidents through several layers of protection, such as safe design, safe working practices, safe behavior and appropriate maintenance, engineering, operating and administrative controls.
  • Experienced and skilled personnel are vital to a safe working environment. Each employee is provided with necessary knowledge and skills to achieve this.
  • Commitment by all personnel to health and safety and protection of safety of others.
  • Encouragement to report all potential hazards, accidents, near miss incidents and proposals for improvement of health and safety.
  • Identification, assessment, control and monitoring of exposures to potential hazards.
  • Development and maintenance of emergency plans to deal with emergencies in an effective and efficient way.
  • Periodical review and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System in place .
  • Full understanding of the Safety Management System in place by every employee within the Company, including shore-based and shipboard personnel.
  • Respectful treatment of all employees within the Organization, contracted to, hired in by or chartered out to the Company, regardless of religion, gender, age, disability, nationality, sexual orientation or physical appearance.

Glomar Offshore B.V has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 (quality management); ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management); ISO 45001:2018 (health and safety management). Glomar Offshore B.V is certified in accordance with the ISM code and is in possession of a Document of Compliance (DOC). Our vessels, where applicable, are certified in accordance with the Maritime Labour Convention.
